Strategic Public Financing for Afterschool and Summer Learning

About this grant

This grant will enable the Children’s Funding Project to conduct strategic fiscal analysis of existing state and federal resources supporting youth in afterschool programs and identify potential resources that could help expand access. Specifically, the grantee seeks to work with the 50 State Afterschool Network to: 1) identify a baseline of the range of funding supporting children and youth in afterschool programs; 2) provide technical assistance to the 50 State Afterschool Network and partners on state finance policy and budgets; and 3) map potential new funding sources to support afterschool and summer learning programs.
