About this grant
This grant increase will support the University of Kansas Center for Research, Inc. which coordinates the Kansas Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) strengthen statewide infrastructure including leadership development, cross-sector collaboration, and professional development for providers; 2) inform strategies that prioritize sustainable funding in afterschool across Kansas; and 3) build statewide communications efforts and partnerships with regional and local organizations to advance afterschool as a benefit for communities.
