South Dakota Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant increase will support the Black Hills Special Services Cooperative which coordinates the South Dakota Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) support the development and growth of statewide initiatives to sustain new and existing out-of-school-time programs; 2) strengthen statewide partnerships to ensure consistent afterschool messaging and program quality innovations; and 3) update statewide data collection and mapping efforts to demonstrate the status and need for afterschool programs.
