About this grant
This grant increase will support School’s Out Washington, which coordinates the Washington Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) strengthen the statewide coalition of youth development and childcare providers to bolster program quality throughout the afterschool continuum; 2) increase visibility of the afterschool and summer learning sector; and 3) support youth and community-based champions of the youth development field.
