West Virginia Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant increase will support the West Virginia University Research Corporation which coordinates the West Virginia Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) elevate the impact of afterschool in the education and youth serving fields to expand access to afterschool programs; 2) increase program quality by continuing to drive the improvement of statewide quality systems and develop new, aligned professional development resources; and 3) amplify the role of afterschool programs in preparing youth for future careers.
