About this grant
This grant increase will support Metropolitan Family Services which coordinates the Illinois Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) increase public awareness of the impact of afterschool on youth in Illinois; 2) coordinate broad coalitions of youth development professionals to improve afterschool quality and access in the state; and 3) increase the number of afterschool champions in the state.
