About this grant
This grant increase will support the Fund for Educational Excellence which coordinates the Maryland Statewide Afterschool Network to leverage opportunities to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. With this increase and extension, the grantee will continue to: 1) increase the sustainability of high-quality afterschool programs for youth in Maryland; 2) increase public and private support of afterschool programs aligned with the expansion of community schools; and 3) support quality improvement of afterschool programs in the state.
