About this grant
Among the most urgent environmental issues confronting Michiganders are ensuring access to safe and affordable drinking water, addressing the far-reaching effects of climate change and managing the health risks posed by air pollution. There is also an ongoing need to empower citizens to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect public and environmental well-being. The Michigan League of Conservation Voters Education Fund is committed to educating policymakers, stakeholders and the broader community about effective strategies for tackling these challenges. With this increase in general-purpose support from the Mott Foundation, the organization will continue its core work protecting Michigan’s air, land and water while focusing on water affordability.
