About this grant
This grant to the Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission will enable the grantee to perform critical maintenance on Huckleberry Railroad’s Engine 464 at Crossroads Village. The Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission is dedicated to providing all residents of Genesee County with high-quality recreational and educational facilities and programs. Genesee County parks are widely utilized as accessible and affordable opportunities for local residents to experience recreation and nature. Attendance at most facilities has increased over the past several years, including during the pandemic when outdoor recreation areas were even more heavily used by friends and families to gather safely.
