About this grant
The goal of this grant is to address systemic injustices faced by peri-urban and rural communities in South Africa. To this end, the Support Centre for Land Change will work with community advice offices to address systemic injustices related to rural land and resource access as well as climate resilience and land-use. People living and working in rural South Africa face daily and systemic injustices as it relates to the use of land. The grantee, working with community advice offices, seeks to improve the quality of life of people in rural areas. The Support Centre for Land Change was established in 1987 to help people living in rural parts of South Africa to access justice.
