About this grant
The goal of this grant is to increase access to justice for poor and marginalized people in Kenya. To this end, Kituo Cha Sheria Legal Advice Centre will implement a series of activities to decrease the justice gap in Kenya. Activities are organized under the following five thematic program areas: 1) legal aid and empowerment; 2) land, climate and environmental justice; 3) governance, human rights and rule of law; 4) forced migration and refugee protection; and 5) socioeconomic justice. Kituo Cha Sheria Legal Advice Centre was established in 1973, making it Kenya’s oldest access to justice nonprofit organization.
