About this grant
The Legal Resources Foundation Trust’s goal is to increase access to justice for poor and marginalized people in Kenya, while also implementing activities related to sustainable public financing for people-centered justice. To this end, the grantee will provide justice services through its network of community paralegals to people in 15 counties in Kenya. In addition, the grantee will undertake research and other activities in collaboration with the government and other stakeholders to ensure that Kenya has a sustainable, people-centered justice system. The Legal Resources Foundation Trust is one of the leading justice organizations in Kenya, and has over 30 years of experience in promoting justice, equity and human rights.
