About this grant

The Community Foundations for Civic Health: Building Common Ground project is designed to increase the number of community foundations confidently strengthening civic health and building common ground in the U.S. The five-year goal is to engage 250 community foundations by providing knowledge resources, peer learning opportunities, technical assistance, matching grants, measurement and evaluation tools, and storytelling and amplification. Anticipated outcomes during the first year include: 1) scoping the civic health and common ground building capacities of U.S. community foundations; 2) engaging at least 50 community foundations through a virtual learning series and a “deep-dive” peer learning cohort; 3) awarding matching grants; 4) issuing an initial measurement report; and 5) hosting an annual Civic Health Summit. CFLeads is a U.S.-based national network of community foundations committed to community leadership.
