About this grant
Clean, reliable freshwater is essential for communities and ecosystems to thrive, yet our nation’s waters are facing grave threats, including pollution, overuse and ineffective management practices. In response, the Water Foundation is working across philanthropy, government and the nonprofit field to build durable One Water solutions that deliver clean, affordable water from source to tap. With partial funding from the Mott Foundation, the grantee will advance this vision by supporting state-level efforts that pioneer and demonstrate sustainable water management approaches, sharing these success stories nationally through strategic communications and convening partners to coordinate activities.
