About this grant
Communities, farms and ecosystems across the United States face increasing water-related threats stemming from pollution, extreme weather, unsustainable development, increased demand, aging infrastructure and resource mismanagement. A coordinated effort is needed to reverse these trends and ensure that all Americans benefit from clean, safe, affordable and reliable water that supports healthy rivers, habitats, productive lands and resilient communities. To build the necessary level of collaboration and cooperation, American Rivers, a major environmental organization, is working with a group of clean water leaders to develop a comprehensive blueprint aimed at catalyzing a national water movement.
