Administrative Assistant — Programs
A Detroit native, Crystal Bright moved to the Flint area in 1991. She began working for Mott in 1998 as an administrative assistant in Human Resources, going on “hiatus” in 2003 to care for her two daughters. She returned to Mott in 2007, working for the Foundation’s Education program team before accepting the position of administrative assistant for the vice president of programs in 2018. Her favorite part of working with the program division is interacting with grantees. “Helping them do what they do is very fulfilling to me,” she says. Bright also enjoys assisting with logistics during the Foundation’s Board of Trustees quarterly meetings, where she has the chance to meet some of those grantees in person. She and her husband are active in community volunteer work, as well as their children’s various in- and out-of-school activities.
