About
Jon’Tise Lewis joined Mott as an administrative secretary in 2013 and was promoted to administrative assistant for the vice president of Communications in 2015. In 2026, she was promoted to HR coordinator, bringing with her more than a decade of institutional knowledge and a strong background in people-centered support.
Lewis holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and graduate-level certificates from the University of Michigan’s Ann Arbor and Flint campuses. She also is certified in chaplaincy, pastoral counseling and holistic life coaching.
An ordained minister and member of the Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc., Lewis is committed to service, wellness and community engagement. She currently co-leads her church’s music and multimedia teams, and she volunteers at organizations throughout Flint and metro Detroit.
In her free time, Lewis enjoys singing and attending concerts and sporting events with her husband and son.
