About this grant
This renewal grant to MDRC will partially support a continuing evaluation of career academies to determine whether these schools have an impact on postsecondary completion and degree attainment and whether the earnings impacts and employment are increasing and sustainable. The evaluation also examines a broader set of outcomes for career academy alumni including the nature of their jobs, career mobility opportunities, healthy lifestyles, civic engagement, marriage and family formation, and reductions in risk-taking behavior.
