About this grant
Freshwater Future has recently launched itself as a stand-alone nonprofit seeking to support community-based groups working locally to protect aquatic habitats throughout the Great Lakes basin. As a former project of Tip of the Mitt Watershed, prior Mott support provided small grants, networking opportunities, and technical assistance to such groups and will continue to do so over the next two years. The grantee will also attend to its own organizational development needs, such as revenue diversification.
