About this grant

With this renewal grant, Both Ends Foundation will continue working to improve the environmentally and socially harmful policies and practices of international financial institutions. Through this project, Both Ends Foundation provides technical and capacity building support to nongovernmental organizations in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union; works on project- and issue-specific campaigns with other nongovernmental organizations; and promotes improvements to the safeguard policies of international financial institutions, the Dutch export credit agency, and private banks. The Both Ends Foundation was established in 1990 to support the work of environmental organizations, primarily in developing and Central and Eastern European countries. The core of its activities supports connections between developed and developing countries, environment and development, and different sectors of society.
