About this grant
The Great Lakes Washington Program of the Northeast-Midwest Institute has long been a critical voice for the Great Lakes region in Washington, D.C. With prior support from Mott, the grantee has provided staff to the bipartisan House and Senate Great Lakes Task Force, promoted bipartisan coalitions to protect and enhance the Great Lakes region, provided policy analyses, and conducted briefings on issues and policies that impact the health of the Great Lakes. With this grant renewal, the grantee will continue these efforts while also providing technical research, policy analyses, and communication materials regarding the prevention of aquatic invasive species in the Great Lakes.
