About this grant

The InterValley Project is a network of related community organizations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and Vermont. The network’s goals are to strengthen member groups; nurture and launch new organizations; assist with coordinated actions on critical issues; and develop new strategies and models to increase the voice of communities as decisions are made affecting jobs, land and development. This grant will enable the network to increase it’s capacity for regional action; conduct at least two three-day regional leadership development institutes each year; conduct at least two regional training workshops; work with affiliates to refine and strengthen local leadership development activities; increase the regional research capacity; and develop more advanced web-based communications between member organizations.
