About this grant
The European Foundation Centre is an independent membership association of foundations and corporate funders dedicated to promoting organized philanthropy in Europe and internationally. In 2007, the European Foundation Centre focused on the implementation of its strategic plan, which required systemic changes across its programs and organizational structure. In 2008, the European Foundation Centre will focus on: (1) implementing work plans for its four new program committees; (2) supporting the development of a European Foundation statute; (3) reviewing and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders and interest groups; (4) expanding its capacity-building activities; and (5) moving forward with a reorganized secretariat. Established in 1989 by seven of Europe’s leading foundations, the European Foundation Centre today serves over 200 core members.
