About this grant
Multiyear funding will enable the Association for Psychosocial Help and Development of Voluntary Work to improve its capacity to support volunteer projects; expand the program to other schools and communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina; and share its knowledge with other non-governmental organizations and schools in Southeast Europe.During the past two years, the association has successfully implemented volunteer programs in secondary and primary schools in two cantons (second-level units of local autonomy) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the district of Brcko. In addition, it has shared its experience and expertise with organizations in Serbia and Montenegro and Kosovo.In 1996, the association was established in Bosnia to provide assistance to children, the elderly and the disabled.
