About this grant
The Louisiana Environmental Action Network, a statewide membership organization, has been working for 23 years to protect the state’s freshwater and coastal resources. Past achievements include: constructive reforms of Louisiana’s water-permitting practices, improvements in specific water quality discharge permits, and the monitoring of water quality in the lower Mississippi River. With this grant increase, the network will continue its efforts to strengthen and fully implement Louisiana’s clean water policies.
