About this grant
Formed in 1999, the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities is a resource and focal point for foundations, nonprofit organizations, and other partners working to solve environmental, social, and economic problems created by suburban sprawl and urban disinvestment. The grantee’s mission is to strengthen and expand funding and philanthropic leadership that yield environmentally sustainable, socially equitable, and economically prosperous regions and communities. This general purpose grant increase will help support the grantee’s Restoring Prosperity in Older Industrial Cities work.
