About this grant
This grant provides continued general purposes support to the Philanthropy Roundtable, a national association of individual donors, foundation trustees and staff, and corporate giving officers. The roundtable’s mission is to: foster excellence in philanthropy; protect philanthropic freedom; assist donors in achieving their philanthropic intent; and to help donors advance liberty, opportunity, and personal responsibility in America and abroad. Programs and services for grantmakers include: a national conference; regional meetings; publication of "Philanthropy" magazine and funder guidebooks; and "breakthrough groups" on the topics of K-12 education, conservation, higher education, and national security. Grant funds will also support the Alliance for Charitable Reform, a project of the roundtable which is dedicated to protecting the freedom and philosophical diversity of foundations.
