Community Foundation Development in Russia

About this grant

The program goal is to further the development of community foundations in Russia. Through this program, the Charities Aid Foundation will award small grants for start-up and consolidation of new community foundations, as well as grants to strengthen regional alliances and identify meaningful models for effecting social change. With this increase, the grantee will commission a detailed study on the state of community foundations in Russia. The study will consolidate much of the quantitative data gathered by the grantee in Russia over its many years of support to community foundations in Russia. At the same time, it will examine field-level qualitative issues related to the local, regional, and national impacts of community foundation work.
