About this grant

A national environmental group with a longtime presence in the Great Lakes region, the National Wildlife Federation works with partner organizations to help implement the Clean Water Act and related policies throughout the Great Lakes Basin. With this grant increase, the grantee will compile a report examining the laws and regulations that can protect water quality from sulfide mining impacts. This increase will also support a conference that will examine how climate adaptation measures can protect Great Lakes water quality.
