About this grant
The Land Trust Alliance is the national organization that helps build the capacity of individual land trusts while also representing land trust interests at the federal level. With prior Mott support, the grantee has helped many land trusts in the Great Lakes Basin and southeastern United States better protect land and freshwater resources. Over the next two years, the grantee will focus its Mott-supported efforts in the Great Lakes. Activities will include facilitating land trust collaborations, promoting strategic freshwater conservation, increasing public engagement, and providing capacity-building services to a range of land trusts.
