About this grant
The Land Trust Alliance is a national organization that helps build the capacity of individual land trusts while also representing land trust interests at the federal level. With prior Mott support, the grantee’s Midwest office helped Great Lakes land trusts improve their abilities to protect land and freshwater resources. With continued Mott support over the next two years, the grantee will provide Great Lakes land trusts with technical assistance and regrants aimed at building organizational capacity, promoting freshwater conservation, and supporting local conservation projects in collaboration with watershed groups and community-based organizations.
