About this grant
This renewal grant enables the Corporation for Enterprise Development to continue developing and promoting state and federal asset-building policies for lower-income Americans. To realize this goal, the corporation will conduct policy research, educate policymakers, and engage a broad constituency of practitioners and other allies in asset-building advocacy. The corporation has played a key role in advancing asset-building strategies, first by promoting Individual Development Accounts and, more recently, Children’s Savings Accounts and other policies to encourage and induce savings in low- and moderate-income households. The Corporation for Enterprise Development, an economic development intermediary, is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and is a long-time grantee of the Mott Foundation.
