About this grant
This grant will renew general purpose support to Focus: HOPE, an antipoverty and civil rights organization serving low-income residents of Detroit’s Oakman Boulevard neighborhood. Co-founded in 1968 by Father William Cunningham and Eleanor Josaitis, Focus: HOPE’s mission is to provide intelligent and practical solutions to overcome racism, poverty, and injustice. Mott funding will help support the grantee’s three core lines of work: the supplemental food program, workforce development training, and comprehensive neighborhood and educational revitalization.
