About this grant
The rivers and streams of the Southeast are considered globally significant due to the aquatic biodiversity they support. Since 1998, World Wildlife Fund has dedicated staff to coordinate and strengthen freshwater conservation efforts in the region. This grant increase will enable World Wildlife Fund to expand its existing small grant program to support the efforts of environmental organizations working collaboratively to address state-level water quality policy issues in Tennessee.
