The center will also continue its endowment training workshop for African-American organizations in conjunction with its conferences; expand its Black Business and Philanthropy Initiative; develop partnerships to expand and market philanthropic giving in the black community; and work on efforts to expand membership and self-generated income.During the past two years, the center convened five regional meetings as well as its Fifth National Conference on Black Philanthropy; promoted increased participation through its Black Business and Philanthropy Initiative; and continued its various endowment training and public education programs.
