About this grant
This grant increase will allow the National Conference of State Legislatures to fund additional states in its collaborative work with the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers to provide technical assistance on furthering afterschool policies with state leadership teams. This collaborative effort is designed to provide teams of state legislators, education chiefs, and governors’ policy advisors with opportunities to advance deeper connections between afterschool and improving public education.
