About this grant

Developed by the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California with support from the Mott Foundation’s Civil Society program, Leadership Development in Interethnic Relations is a community-based leadership training initiative that has proven to be an important element of Flint and Genesee County’s ongoing efforts to address issues of racial and interethnic relations. Continued support to the YWCA of Greater Flint will enable staff to assess the replication, continue to gather feedback on the community’s response to the program, develop programs and curriculum, as well as market and recruit for a third cycle. This grant increase will provide bridge funding to cover programmatic and administrative expenditures in response to a funding shortfall.
