Ohio Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association which coordinates the Ohio Statewide Afterschool Network. The network seeks to increase the capacity of afterschool programs to document their positive impacts on children, youth, and families. In addition to continuing the network’s core work to advance afterschool in Ohio, it will complete a multiyear project to: 1) develop a toolkit and a community of practice to help afterschool programs collect and use data to document and share their positive results to schools, funders, and stakeholders; 2) publish a series of white papers that highlight areas in which afterschool and expanded learning programs support student achievement; and 3) establish a new statewide initiative on data and accountability.
