About this grant
For more than 80 years, the United Way of Genesee County has supported a network of local nonprofit human service and health organizations. This general purpose renewal grant will enable it to continue funding community programs that serve the needs of area residents. The grantee focuses its funding priorities on basic needs/strengthening families, child/youth development, and older adults. The grantee also administers several projects including the BEST capacity building project; participates in numerous collaboratives; and serves as fiduciary for several area programs.
