About this grant

This grant provides partial support to a collaborative project that provides African-American, Latino, and Asian-American donors with new tools and information to increase the impact of their individual and collective philanthropy. In addition to the Support Center for Nonprofit Management, five organizations are partnering in this effort and include Asian American Federation of New York, the Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, the Hispanic Federation, the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers, and the Twenty-First Century Foundation. A variety of outreach, educational, and support activities are planned in 2007, including educating new donors; convening meetings and trainings; underwriting the creation of communications, marketing, and training tools; disseminating curriculum guides and information on lessons learned; and providing technical assistance support.
