About this grant

This grant will support Collaborative Communications Group in its continued efforts to support the two, Mott-funded New Day for Learning sites in San Francisco and Providence and other participating communities. The sites are working to develop seamless learning systems to ensure that young people have the academic knowledge and skills they need to be successful in school, work, and life. This project will allow ten district-community partnerships (San Francisco, CA; Providence, RI; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; Flint, MI; Omaha, NE; Peekskill, NY; and St. Paul, MN) to participate in a learning community that includes opportunities for exchanging ideas and lessons learned, examining new initiatives, and receiving technical assistance. Specifically, Collaborative Communications Group will: 1) manage an interactive online workspace; 2) organize monthly audio conferences for the New Day for Learning sites; and 3) provide guidance on policy news and changes.
