About this grant
This grant will enable the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce to continue building mid-Michigan’s regional workforce development capacity through a series of initiatives that include creating a small business development infrastructure; reflecting on lessons learned in reshaping the state’s workforce policy; implementing the federally funded Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development initiative; and evaluating an alternative staffing pilot in Flint designed to facilitate jobs for the hard-to-employ.
