Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will continue to support the Michigan Association of United Ways in the advancement of the Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network. This grantee is part of the third cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks. In addition to continuing its core work building the field of afterschool, the Michigan Statewide Afterschool Network will create a statewide afterschool professional development system aligned with national and state education initiatives that support student success. The network envisions that all students will have access to high quality, innovative science, technology, engineering, and mathematics activities and programs linked to school standards that develop inquiry and discovery to prepare them for college, work, and life. Lessons learned and products will be shared with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
