About this grant
This grant will support the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, which coordinates the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue development of policy, partnerships, and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) recruit and develop a diverse group of key champions across the state; 2) conduct a statewide survey with career and technical education centers and workforce development boards to increase partnerships with afterschool and summer learning programs; 3) foster a coordinated approach to college and career ready opportunities for afterschool students; and 4) support the development and distribution of the new afterschool program content in collaboration with the Foundation’s thematic partners.
