About this grant
The CEO Council is a corporate outreach and advocacy program of the National Organization on Disability. In 2004 and 2005, Booz Allen and Hamilton undertook a pro bono analysis of the CEO Council, including both its fundraising and programmatic potential. The review helped shape the current program of the council, which now provides needed information and materials to corporate leaders who actually make the decisions about the hiring of people with disabilities. This grant will enable the organization to hire a program director and deputy director for the council; enhance Web site offerings and other communications products; and increase public exposure through briefings on Capitol Hill and outreach to the media. The National Organization on Disability, founded in 1982, works to promote the acceptance and full participation of men, women and children with physical and mental disabilities in all aspects of life.
