About this grant

The project goal is to improve the capacity for strategic grantmaking that supports the participation of women in decisionmaking processes at local and national levels in Serbia. To this end, this grant supports the institutional and programmatic development of the Reconstruction Women’s Fund, a Serbian grantmaking organization. During the grant period, the grantee will engage individual donors and other local sources of support in its work; strengthen its monitoring and evaluation systems; expand and deepen partnerships with other civil society organizations; and reach out to young people through its programs. During the past two years, the grantee strengthened its networking and convening activities, bringing together diverse activists around common issues. The grantee also leveraged financial and in-kind donations from local sources. The grantee is based in Belgrade, Serbia, and works throughout Serbia.
