About this grant
This grant will provide continued funding for the International Institute for Sustainable Development’s electronic news service, "Investment Treaty News". Formerly INVEST-SD, "Investment Treaty News" covers the piecemeal regime of international rules governing foreign investment flows and the emerging policy implications of these rules, particularly their sustainable development impacts. The "Investment Treaty News" monitors new treaty negotiations, summarizes legal disputes between foreign investors and host governments, and publicizes events and resources related to this expanding field.The institute was founded in 1990 to promote sustainable development in public and private sector decisionmaking internationally and within Canada.
