About this grant
Red Ink Studios, a project coordinated by the Genesee Area Focus Fund, is an artist movement that transforms underutilized buildings into free studio space for artists. Located in the Royalite building next to the Flint Farmers Market, Red Ink Studios – Flint has developed into an important contributor to Flint’s arts community. For three years, Red Ink Studios – Flint has provided rent-free studio space and showcase exhibitions for up-and-coming artists. Red Ink Studios – Flint recently hired a new director and is poised to continue developing as an important contributor to the arts and community revitalization in Flint.
