About this grant

The Accountability Institute South Africa provides training, capacity building, and organizational support to nonprofits in South Africa, focusing on issues of accountability, reporting, and governance. The institute has worked closely with selected nonprofits to put in place proper financial and accountability systems to improve their governance and reporting. This renewal grant will enable the grantee to build on the lessons learned and experiences gained, and to continue to implement its accountability model with civil society organizations in South Africa, including Mott grantees. The Accountability Institute South Africa will focus on issues of strategy, structure, systems, staffing, and skills, in addition to questions of accountability, reporting, and governance.
