About this grant
This grant will support the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children which coordinates the Oregon Statewide Afterschool Network to continue development of policy, partnerships, and funding to benefit youth in afterschool programs. The network’s specific initiatives will include: 1) increasing communications activities to build public awareness about the importance of afterschool; 2) developing a comprehensive plan to engage new stakeholders and increase resources for afterschool programs; and 3) creating a digital badging system for professional development in the afterschool field.
